Parveen Shakir was a legendary female poet who started her professional career in her childhood. Her first book was �Khushbu�. Then she came up with other books named Sad-Barg, Khud�kalaami, and Inkar. Sadly, she died in a car accident while she was going to work in 1994.
We are always willing to add more and more poetry of her.

main kachchii niind men hun
aur apane niim_Khvaabidaa tanaffus mein utaratii
chaandanii kii chaap sunatii hun
gumaan hai
aaj bhii shaayad
mere maathe pe tere lab
sitaare sabaat karate hain
[niim-Khvaabidaa=half dreaming state; tanaffus=breath]
[shaap=footstep; gumaan=suspicion]
